SPCC DAYS

~ days in SPCC, and beyond...

I transferred to SPCC primary school (AM section, which becomes the SPCC (McDonnell Rd.) Primary School now) in 1987, as a primary 2 (= grade 2) student. From 1987 to 1998 (when I left Hong Kong for University), I have spent over 10 years in my beloved SPCC...

Note:

SPCC Alumni association has recently put together a video envisioning SPCC's future and requesting alumni to contribute. Please contact me (write_to@paulcheung.com) if you want to look at it.

-- Primary school (1987 - 1992)

Good 5 years. It was a little bit uneasy at the beginning as I transferred from an all-boys school to a co-ed school, but fortunately I get used to it pretty quick. Anyway...I must admit that probably I have met quite some future important icons during this 5 years as many of them are doing extremely well now...let's see =)

-- F.1E to F.3E (1992 - 1995)

By far the happiest days ever in school. The whole class is really connected and close. We had had a lot of precious time together - joy, laugh, cry, sorrow...we went through all those as one. It's absolutely the best portrait of "Class Spirit". Even for now, we still hang out and have gatherings occasionally. This gang is simply amazing!

-- F.4E to L6Sc.A (1995 - 1998)

4E - 5E
The two prep years for HKCEE (an open examination for all full-time secondary school students after form 5 = grade 11) had been pretty crazy. Those were the years that I worked hardest in my life, largely motivated by my talented and diligent classmates. I feel a bit bad for not being able to know some of my classmates better, but they surely are great people.
Lower 6 Science A
I spent my final year in SPCC as a member of class L6ScA after HKCEE. I spent most, if not all, of my time on playing and extra-curricular activities. As a result, I screwed my report card pretty badly. To be honest I didn't intend to give up studying, but at the end of the day it turned out to be like that...what can I say? *sigh*
